Piwacket Theatre captivates young audiences with cleverly adapted fairytales filled with catchy songs, fun dances, colorful costumes and magical props. Piwacket uses theatre to highlight character education, delivering messages of respect, cooperation, kindness and tolerance to hundreds of thousands of children and their families throughout the U.S. Last year Piwacket performed for over 25,000 children and their families. Piwacket was founded in 1989 and is produced by OFF The CUFF Productions, a not-for-profit-501(c) corporation at the Black Cat Theatre.

Piwacket puts its own spin on this traditional favorite. CinderBottom, is about a young girl who shares the value of kindness in a world that isn’t always so sweet, especially with those nasty stepsisters and that hilarious step mother. Thanks to the help of her Mouse friend and the Fairy God Mother she is magically whisked off to the ball to meet her prince charming.

Piwacket is performed by professional adult actors and operates on an Actor's Equity LOAPP contract.

Piwacket hires both union and non-union employees and is an equal opportunity employer.
